WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR IN TRAINING
This full time position performs all activities related to the wastewater system including disinfection, collection of water samples, sludge disposal and treatment procedures to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required. The applicant must possess the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all coworkers and the general public. The applicant must maintain a valid WV Driver’s License and the ability to obtain and maintain the WV Department Of Health Wastewater Operator’s License as mandated. Knowledge of or experience with wastewater collection, wastewater system maintenance process including pump/plant maintenance and lubrication is preferred. Apply online or at Welch City Hall. CITY OF WELCH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
1 FULL TIME POSITION – Duties include general maintenance and repairs to city owned buildings and properties, parks, public works, weed cutting, mowing, landscaping, painting, snow removal and all duties assigned by the Superintendent. Must be able to operate power tools and have a valid driver’s license.
